Dr. Kimberley Amirault-Ryan
Lead of Sport Psychology for the Canadian Olympic Committee | Performance Consultant for the Edmonton Oilers
Dr. Kimberley Amirault-Ryan lives her philosophy of embracing challenges and pushing boundaries to achieve more. She was the first female performance consultant for the New York Rangers, the New York Knicks, the Columbus Blue Jackets, and the Edmonton Oilers. She is currently the Lead of Sport Psychology for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics for the Canadian Olympic Committee, and the Performance Consultant for the Edmonton Oilers and the Canadian Women’s Olympic Soccer Team. Her passion for motivating audiences to reach their fullest potential has received praise from international corporations and sports organizations alike, including Visa, ING, the NHL, and the NBA.
Dr. Amirault-Ryan has worked in Olympic sport since 1998 and in professional sport since 2001. She has worked with Canadian Olympic sport with the gold medal winning teams of women’s hockey, the cross country ski team, and the speed skating team. For the 2010 Vancouver and 2012 London Olympic Games she was the Lead of Sport Psychology for the Canadian Olympic Committee.
For her groundbreaking work, Dr. Amirault-Ryan has received numerous awards including WXN Canada’s “Most Powerful Women Top 100 Award”; The Globe and Mail’s Top Power 50; Avenue magazine’s “Top 40 Under 40;” and the Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women and Sport and Physical Activity’s “Most Influential Canadian Women in Sport and Physical Activity Award.” |
